SodaHead: To Catch a Terrorist, You Have to Play Their Game

Below is an excerpt from my column over on SodaHead today.

In Maureen Dowd’s Sunday Op-Ed, “Captain Obvious Learns the Limits of Cool,” Russ Feingold, a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, claims that he’s been urging us to attack Yemen since 2002. Good one, Feingold. Nice call.

Except that two sentences later, you say that “this is obviously an international network and we have to start thinking about it that way rather than as a country-by-country eradication process.”


The whole problem with this war is that we’re acting as if it’s a war between nation-states. It’s not.
